The organization carries out feminist and gender-based research to assess and determine the current status, needs, challenges, and gains being made in Ugandan communities to improve women, girls, and other minoritized groups around sexual reproductive health, violence, poverty, and education access.

Embibo also gives voice to young women and girls through traditional and social media like radio, newspapers and television programs.
